Harvey had a slight drop compared to his average stats up to 2029 but I would suggest that this is due to not having enough data instances instead of him performing much worse in this league.

From what I saw this morning in my db, only 4 pitchers further improved their averages (Greinke, Maddux, Keuchel) with decent seasons in this league.
What do they have in common? Higher than 84 movement.

Good luck in the last 2 games. Hopefully it will be two games.

I'll go under the assumption that no ill-intent was meant. But I'll always call out such behavior when directed at me, and, hopefully, if I see it directed at others.[/QUOTE]
Dude you can call out whatever your little heart desires my friend. It was still funny. I don’t know any other way to put it. Hilarious , Funny, side slapping, and that is all I am going to say about it anymore. To me that was a funny statement . What ill-intent can funny mean. 😁

Congrats Magpies... great series right down to the end of the 7th and deciding game. Gave it all we could, but fitting the team that had the far better, more consistent regular season came out on top.

Good luck in the finals!!

I'm glad I slept through it all. I took a nap leading 3-0 and when I found out it was 3-3 my outburst scared my cat. A walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th by Nap Lajoie, makes me feel a little better about acquiring him, (but not much) negative WAR for the season does that to a GM. R. Johnson struggles in playoff games. He had not 1 but TWO 20+ consecutive save streaks this season, but stinks mightily in the post-season. Just before the playoffs started, I noticed he was in my pen as an SP instead of CL. Maybe, it was bad luck to switch his position? So, it'll be the 2nd season in a row I get to defend the honor of the league against the uninvited zombie team and a chance to eat crow in a good way!

Good luck! You have always been a very tough opponent for me. Your team to me is like playing a whale, even though you are under the cap, because you deploy it so well.

I wish I had the guts to dump another 100 into the game, perfect Williams is available and you can go over the cap against a zombie team. So, instead the big move is to send Mariano Rivera to the reserve and call up Terrance Gore. Terrance Gore is the luckiest man in baseball, he got a major league contract from the Royals with a 5 year track record of 19 plate appearances 1 hit and 27 stolen bases with 19 runs scored. Would someone be kind enough to buy Nap Lajoie from me for 140K in the next few minutes so I can add Ted Williams?

The assumption of my feelings was what seemed to be of ill-intent, because it cast them in a negative light, as if I was not as good as the rest of you and knew it. And finding something humorous is one thing, pointing it out at someone else's expense is a bit more.

Then you write "Dude you can call out whatever your little heart desires my friend", which seems awfully condescending, and by the rest of your post, you demonstrate that you have absolutely no interest in reading someone else's point of view or learning from how your statement was found to be offensive. Instead you're dismissive and condescending.

As amusing as it was to find out I was placed in your restricted league by mistake, and while I surely would have rooted against me in the place of y'all, it's not especially fun to go on line and read all that "hate" and wishes of bad luck and losing. But hey, it's part of the game, and I can be a good sport. It was no one's fault, and once I came here, everyone has been nice, understanding and welcoming.

But you are being a jerk. To put it as nicely as I can. And that is all *I* am going to say about it anymore.

Good luck, Bailey. Didn't want to face you, because I'm a huge fan of the real life Collingwood Magpies and hate to root against a team with that name. Was planning to use that name for one of my teams in OOTP20 and was surprised (and disappointed) that someone beat me to it.

Describes most of the teams in this league. Just sayin'....

I mean I won 20 more games last season in a league where probably 5 to 10 teams had more "points" by your cap system than I did.

I never heard of Australian rules football until I played in RANZBA which is one of the best online leagues available. Collingwood was the first team I played there, but I'm no good at online leagues. Later, they had a reboot and everyone participated in the inaugural draft except me. I got on board too late to draft, so I inherited the computer drafted North Melbourne Kangaroos and then proceeded to win it all in season 1, or rather the computer AI that drafted it, won it all.

Humm, I have never heard of it. Thanks for the heads up. 😁

Amazing series you two had. Flipping through the game logs was a fun way to kill time between my games. Coming from 3-0 down is easier in OOTP than real life, but still tough, and I thought you had him with that dramatic homer in the top of the ninth....

Best wishes to both of you going forward, except of course my next series against him.

Very cool. If you missed it, I told my story of how I got into Aussie Rules a few pages back when you weren't on the thread, so I won't repeat it, but you can look back.

Collingwood began playing an American player (really tall ex-college basketball player) named Mason Cox a few seasons back. Everyone was disparaging him because he hadn't grown up with the game and looked terrible at first, but he had a breakout season this last year and it's even more fun to root for a team with a good American star. Collingwood fans chanting "USA" during a playoff game was priceless!

Fox Soccer Plus costs me an extra few bucks a month, but it's sooooo worth it for the Aussie Rules and Rugby League.

Didn't know there was a computer version of Aussie Rules though.... looked for one six to seven years ago, but didn't find anything then.

I had that on a streaming service for two months for English football, but also caught a few AFL games......I might have to think about that.

The main attraction there now is Bundesliga. I don't hate that, but wish it didn't take time away from the three leagues I follow... AFL, NRL (Australian Rugby League) and Super League (English Rugby League).

Super League has the coolest promotion/relegation system in sports that I know of, look it up!
