All my players moved to reserve roster?

Hello there. I started my Perfect Team's first season and was 19-12 and then all of the sudden I got some message about how I am ready for league placement. So then all of the sudden I get the countdown till next simulation and I go and check my team and all of my starting players have now been moved to the reserve roster and I am unable to move them back into my lineup for the upcoming game because I need to wait 14 days to do that for each player. Has this happened to anyone before?? Thanks for the help

Also to add to this, when I go to the starting menu I get a "Team Submit Failed " message. The submit failed because the roster did not pass sanity checks

Ok another game just simulated and I was able to check the boxscore. I got the win and my lineup and pitching staff in the boxscore were what they should be. Unfortunately when I go to the reserve roster my players are still all on the reserve roster and the number has not come down from 14 so it looks like they may just be stuck there. Any idea what I can do?

Do you happen to have multiple installs of OOTP on the same system. I saw some hiccup like this when I used one version (steam) and then switched back and forth to another version ( eSellerate version).

Fortunately it all fixed itself when I logged out, closed ootp, and then logged back in and stayed with all my teams on the same copy of OOTP.

A log off and exit OOTP and clean fresh start fixed a lot of of my minor hiccups.
Good luck.

Yes this could be it. This is my second team and I go back and forth. I will try this and see if it works. I have closed OOTP and repopened it and that didn't fix it but maybe I will try uninstalling it and installing again. Thank you for this

Reinstalled the game to see if it would change anything and it didn't unfortunately

This has happened to me a number of times. Put a post in the Bug Report section, maybe they will start to pay attention to it--seems like there are others seeing it also

Thank you I will put a note in the bug report section. Did you figure out a way to get around it???

I basically sold all of the players on my team and I am attempting to buy them again. Just going to take a bit because I have no points to make all the purchases until all of the cards I put up sell.

For clarification, I meant multiple installations (copies) of OOTP.
Having multiple teams and logins should not cause an issue.

We have all 3 OOTP versions on a PC (steam, origin and e-seller) but use just one version of the software to login/out into the teams.

This has worked very well and I have not run into the problem again.
I figured there is a rate bug that gets triggered when you jump between different copies of the software while new games are simulated.

Sorry to hear that you have not been able to solve it.

No way around it I could find...my players were just inactive for 14 days and I had to field scrubs. I don't have multiple installations of OOTP and I don't even have multiple teams. However, the problem seemed to begin after I manually patched the game to the latest update a few weeks ago. I will say that the random roster moves haven't happened to me for four or five days now.

Basically what I did to get around it was sell my entire team and then rebuy the players. I was just starting this team so my players weren't expensive but it was a pain. Have had some problems selling the players so far but in time hopefully I will. When my players were moved to the reserve roster the 14 day countdown never started so I had to physically get rid of those players and get the new ones. Really is a shame though because I like to keep track of the stats of the players and how they have been on my teams through the years but when I had to get my players over again the stats on them reset but at least the game is playable at this point. Also once I had bought my players back they once again were transferred to the reserve list for 14 days and those 14 days finally counted down and I was able to finally get my lineup back together.

Here's hoping it doesn't happen again.I have seen quite a few posts on the bug report forum about this player problem whether it's just one player being moved to the reserves or a bunch of players like what happened to me. Hopefully something can be done about this. If it happens again I don't think I will have enough patience to do what I just did haha
