Pitch count vs Quick Hook

Would like to see what others use to pull pitchers so they dont tire and get shelled in PT.

My issue is mostly with relievers, but I get its applies to starters too. Ive gone to have PCs for all my SPs, even for the historical that have stamina of 100+. Because I want to pull any pitcher at the first sign they are struggling.

For relievers, I only have the Global Strat on Quick Hook moved all the way Left. So I set it to pull the quickest possible. I dont have PC on relievers, because thats hard for me to determine. But I still have games where they are left in too long. If I were managing the game, Id pull a RP if 2 batters in a row get on base.

What do others do to try and get pitchers out before too much damage is done?

hook determines pulling them if there is trouble. PC pulls them if they are past that # at the end of the batter. I typically set my relievers for a PC of 25, which should be 2 innings if they are cruising. If you want them out before they can do a ton of damage, 15 is better, if they throw more than 15 pitches in an inning, bad things are happening.

I might try that. I have enough arms in my bullpen that if one guy isn't doing the job another can come in who will. How many relievers do you carry?

Typically 7, although I'm trying new things this season.
