I'm not convinced that it means much IRL either

[QUOTE=joehart;4438634]It is hard to find lefty starters in our league. Essentially there are only three to consider:
96 Kershaw 86 Keuchel 100 Randy The last few seasons I've used 92 Kershaw both as a starter and out of the bullpen with success. |

My goal the rest of this season (Since I got off to a horrid first half of 40-41) is to win a wild card spot, Then win the Wild card game and then take out the Night Watch so for the rest of the playoffs we will have only our guys to compete against. 😁

[QUOTE=Blazinghalo;4438647]I agree. Those are the only three I have been able to use in the Perfect league with any success.

Every season I like to look on a Friday to see who has been playing the best ball the first 60 pct of the season and this year by far it has been Bobs Burgers. He has done a wonderful job of keeping his foot to the pedal. I use to love having a season going into Saturday with a 20 game lead because then I could take a whole day off Saturday and experiment with other players to see who might fit in the up coming season. This season Bob looks like he might have that chance. GREAT job Bobs Burgers. You are diffently the Burger King of this League. 😁

Oh oh , That goal I posted earlier might not happen. If the season ended today and I was lucky enough to win the Wild Card game I would be playing Bobs Burgers and not the Night Watch. Not what I was hoping for.... But now that I look at it I play the Night Watch 10 more times this season so if I can get lucky I could over take them in the Division and on the other hand if I get unlucky they could end my dream of making the playoffs at all. Should be a very interesting and tension filled Friday and Saturday for me. But at least this time I have control over my destiny. I am home both days so I can tinker every series and either pull it out or go down in flames but at least I will have the control and if I lose it is only on me and not me being away and wishing I could have seen what happened and wondering if maybe I could have managed it differently.

Wow, It took 6 homers and 14 innings to beat the Night Watch in the first game at their house. There is no way we can beat them here. Our bullpen is dead tired and we needed 6 homers just to win the first one. 😨

That was big. We won the second game 4-2 so at the worse we will walk out of there winning the series. We get them next week at my house for four games. I hate their stadium. It is so tripped up with Ave, Doubles and Homers. I like my pitching staff better then his but at his park there is no pitching. Lol. Dwight did a magnificent job holding them to two runs. (One earned) I wish we did not fall so far behind them so early. We were 13 and a half games out a while back when my club was floundering. It is so hard to gain that much back. We are 5 back still. They have a dangerous hitting team.

I am so messed up. I love the people here and I will never be able to play with all them again and NYY23 is winning his Division so it looks like he might be back so if it is ok with you and the rest of the league I would like to stay. I guess I will get all the experience I need playing against whale teams when we go to 20 and break up our league here. I do go on and on for a simple question so the answer is no. I would like to stay. You have made the finest league I think that can ever be made my friend. Great people and very great Managers.
