What happens if...

I sell off all my players during the season and try to start over? Can I do this?

What level are you playing in? If it is bronze, sure but you have to keep a minimum of 15 position players and 10 pitchers.

If you do this at a much higher level, expect to be banned before your team would get relegated.

I do not know if the ban is lifted after you get relegated to those lower levels or not...

Gold. I don't want to get banned. I was just thinking I should build my team over.

Try to sell off some and replace them and then sell off the others and replace those etc instead of a massive selloff. OR if you dont make the playoffs, you can technically buy 25 irons at 5pp each, then sell everyone off, then re-buy a full roster. The key is just to avoid obvious tanking and putting out a roster that isnt trying to win which you may get caught in if you sell everyone off when games are happening. Also you have to keep 15 hitters and 10 pitchers at all times like he said.

Yeah, we're only banning people who shift their roster to be so bad that they're making a mockery of the system (ie. constantly losing 20-0, etc...). If you're playing "reasonable" players, then don't worry.

Do you have a second email address? If so why not start fresh with a second team and let this one be?

I had a pack only team permanently stuck at gold that I remade on the fly as an all-Florida team- was able to sell players and replace them with auction proceeds as I went. Took about 10 days and stayed close to .500 and was not relegated as I made the transformation- key was to sell and replace a handful of cards at a time rather than an immediate tank and dump.

Of course, now I’ve replaced a mediocre pack team with a mediocre theme team, still stuck in Gold, but it can absolutely be done without disrupting league competitiveness and balance.

My team's luck changed once I made a championship series, lost. Since then any player I have had over a 85 has completely crapped the bed. I also haven't pulled anyone noteworthy from a pack in what seems like forever. Pete Rose... sold him for the big bucks. 1700PPs Lol.
