It sounds like something that is not currently in the game engine.
A faster recovery speed for historic players that played more games like Mike Marshall. Unless I am mistaken, I believe currently all relief pitchers recover at the same rate.

Stamina will give you more innings /game but that is not how Mike Marshall was used.

I think I remember reading something on the forums that said this would be looked at in OOTP 20
