Commish can't manage his own team!
I'm the Commissioner of an online league. We're in Spring Training.
Ever since S.T. started, when I sim the A.I. rewrites all my lineups, depth charts, and pitching staff assignments. It also offers contracts to free agents. It does this ONLY for my team, not any of the other human managers. Essentially, it is acting like my team is an A.I. team, not a human-run team. I have Do Not Disturb deselected in the Auto-Play options, I have all the Team Control Options set to me, not the A.I. Last season we did not have this problem. Seemed to start in Spring Training this year. We did have a different Commissioner last year (actually we had two co-commissioners), so that's the one thing that's different this year—just a different co-commissioner running the sims. |

The biggest thing to make sure of for the commish is that you are actually in control of your team, not just "acting as..." your team.
The next most common is Do Not Disturb, but as you have said, it's not selected. |

Boy, I hate when I have an issue like this and nobody chimes in with "Hey, that totally happened to me, too!" Like I'm not paranoid enough already.
Anyway, I "fixed" the problem, which is to say, I did something that made it go away (for now, at least; fingers crossed). Since the game was basically acting like the Commissioner's team (my team) was an A.I. team, I thought, well, what if I make it so that my team is no longer the Commissioner's team? I created a separate Commissioner ID, then "fired" myself as Commissioner (which, for some reason also "fired" me as GM of my team). Logged in under the new Commissioner ID, reassigned myself as GM of my team, and... that seemed to do it. Ran some test sims and I now have full control of my team again. Whether it was the additional Commissioner ID or the firing/rehiring of myself as GM that did it, I don't know. I'm guessing this was all just some little glitch that somehow was created when we switched commissioners in the off-season. |

Of note, I would generally recommend having a separate "commissioner" account from that of a regular manager, since as a commish, you can "cheat" in stuff like going over budget limits, so keeping that account separate from the main account is just good practice to not accidentally do stuff like that. |

I use a separate commish account in the other online league I run. I'll continue to do that in both leagues now.
