Crashes on startup
I've played 19 since game launch with no problems. I reset my laptop, however, about a week ago and now I am getting "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll missing". I've tried to do several things to fix it (reinstalled, ran windows update, etc.) but nothing is working. Any help you could give would be appreciated!

Hey RedCup217,
From what that error is giving you it sounds like a Visual C++ Redistributable Error. Most likely when you reset your laptop it didn't keep the updates to Visual C++ which is something that Microsoft would need to update. You can update your Visual C++ either by using windows update or by actually installing it manually yourself. I'll include a link below that would be the place to go to download that update. https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/down....aspx?id=48145 You could also use this internet page for assistance on troubleshooting that error you are getting. https://www.thewindowsclub.com/api-m...dll-is-missing Let me know if that fixes the problem. Thanks Alex |

Alex, thanks! I actually did that several times, restarting each time. Nothing happened. Then, BOOM, I went to restart out of frustration yesterday and my laptop said I had 164 updates!
Installed all updates, verified files via Steam and I just got it to work. Thanks for the reply! |
