Multiple Teams and Cheating
So I just want to clarify something. I have 2 teams right now and I'm going to be starting a 3rd next week. My main team is perfect level and aren't bound to any self-imposed restrictions. My second team is still in entry league and I'm building them as a classic player only team. My third team is gonna be all Milwaukee players (Brewers and Braves).
I understand how the AH can be used to cheat the system by funneling players and PP to a team and I also know that checks have been put into place to prevent that. What I would like to know is if moving players between my teams is restricted EVEN if I'm doing so by fair market value. For instance, say I have a Robin Yount (82ovr) on one of my other teams that I want on my Milwaukee team... if I actually charge the fair market (last 5) value of 2000pp would that be cheating the system? I could see how it could be, but I also see how that would be ok. I'm still making the transaction at fair value. I'd just rather have this clarified now before doing something that could get me in hot water. It is not my intention of cheating to unfairly improve my top team, but rather potentionally move pieces around to teams where they fit thematically, but at fair value. Basically I'm asking if all transactions between 2 teams owned by the same user are disallowed for any reason? Thanks! |

Search around, there were similar posts and they said its ok as long as you let the auction run without a buy it now and for at least 12 hours, to give all players a fair and reasonable shot at the card.
So you maybe will have to part with a little extra PP to ensure that you get the winning bid, but otherwise based on what they said it should be ok. |

I put up a silver card without a Buy it Now for 12 hours. I bid 400k for it from my 2nd account. Noone else is going to do that. I've just successfully funneled the 400k lucky Perfect Card I opened from my 2nd account to my first account. |

Of note, logins on the same license are generally barred from bidding on each other. So you may not be able to even bid from your 2nd account for someone placed at auction from your main account.
And we are certainly monitoring any transactions that far exceed the norms of value, so in that 400k bid, obviously we will flag that and ban accounts that do that. |

Shuffling Between Teams
I'm finally finished setting the rosters on my three teams, with the restriction that each team has unique players, whose seasons are at least ten years in the past (when I stopped following MLB). It made this season quite a bit of fun because there were enough players on two teams, and a couple on all three, that I had some tough decisions to make as to which team got the player in question. Going forward, the players can only be replaced by better cards on the team that has them, which could make any "pack luck" also fraught with tough choices.
BTW, anybody have a Jim Bouton iron card they can drop in the AH? I accidently sold mine and haven't seen one yet. |

If accounts are able to bid on their own cards through different accounts I would hope you would monitor auctions that have a great number of bids on them because it would benefit the seller to be able to push the price up if there is little activity (but one opening bid that is set high) on a card he's trying to sell. |

I'm pretty sure you are blocked from bidding on players from one of your other teams. Not that it is just frowned upon, it is blocked in the game. I could be wrong.

I know that I cannot bid on my own cards. I have tested it. Maybe others have found a way around it with multiple licenses.
