P400

It's 2025 and the Lake Monroe Doctrine is new to P400, although this will be our third season at the perfect level. I only recognize one team, Thalion's Walnut Creek Geezers, who won a conference championship last season in P401.

We had a lively conversation all week on the forum in the P401 thread last season, and I'd enjoy getting some dialogue going for P400.

BTW, I am the assistant GM for the Doctrine, whom I manage alongside my son, CrazyWR.

Hi Guys,

Good luck to you. My team will probably be on autopilot and I'll probably not be chatting on the forums this week. The changes and how they were handled has left a real bitter taste in my mouth.

If things improve next week, maybe I'll be back.

Looking at the standings tab, it appears there's 10 playoff teams still. Normal for the AC, and 3 wild card teams for the NC.

How are you doing my friend? My league is a lot easier without TwinsFan in my Division. I am off to a 34-12 start and a 8 game lead. How is the Doctrine doing?

Congratulations on your fine record to date!

I would like to think that we are underachieving at 30-23. We are tied for the lead in our division. We are second in our conference in terms of Run Differential to Thalion's team, but we should be better than our .558 record. We invested in several new players, and we hope that we will see better results.

We added perfect Randy Johnson and perfect DiMaggio, as well as 97-overall Jackie Robinson (the one that can actually field) and 96-overall Mickey Cochrane.

Ugh, I decided to peek. No matter where I go, I cannot beat the Doctrine.

I think the alumni of .401 should make it our mission to dominate every league they banish us to in order to prove the superiority of .401.

We got lucky and swept, but you still have a much better record.

As for the latter point, I concur, but we both have work to do to make that happen this season. You need to put hands on your team and uphold the honor of .401. #P401-2024

if we keep exhausting our bullpen, we are never going to. I have to figure out why we seem to constantly have a dead pen. I realllllly don't want to adjust my hook settings, but I may need to.

The Doctrine is managed by two very good Managers who are not afraid to mix things up. They are a very tough team to beat.

The 401 this season is a joy compared to last season. (Meaning winning not enjoying.) we had such a tough amount of teams last season. Making the playoffs was a honor against those teams. This season I am 41-14 and Teams across the board are not as tough as last season. Thanks for letting me know that someone out there agrees. I thought it was a good discussion and most people seemed comfortable with it. A few people always get mad, of course. I don't understand why they shut it down, but that's none of my business.

Zorro, I miss last season's group also. I do have one good player with an all-Indians team in my league that likes to discuss things, but that's about it. I think it would be great if they get the friends list up and running soon so that people will be able to stay together if they want.

I think I've FINALLY stabilized our pitching (with 1 exception in the bullpen, but thats minor), so I'm excited to see where next week lands us. This is a warmup league basically lol
