You made the mistake of asking a real question in here. To my knowledge noone jumps levels. You just move up or down 1 level, or stay the same, each week.

I don't think my statements are mutually exclusive. Here are my opinions

• I'd like players to have some form of limited total resets.
• Tanking is against the TOS so I am against that.
• Teams were promoted too quickly this time around.
• Being stuck in a league with no chance to compete sucks. I am not going to compete with my team that just moved to diamond. All that remains to be seen is if I am bad enough to get relegated. It is why I would like limited resets.
• Tanking to drop a level has a trickle down effect. Maybe it helps you compete at the lower league level but do you then become a team at that new level that other teams can't compete with?
• There is no easy solution or answer to this delimma that benefits all players

He is explaining what the actual purpose of this thread should be. We all know that you want unlimited competitive advantage and don't want anyone discussing anything different than that, but c'mon man. You have added zero value to this thread. He is explaining what the actual purpose of this thread should be. I think you just explained why your idea won't work. You solve your problem but you create a problem for others.

Someone has to finish one spot above relegation in every league. It is a math fact.

Also in my opinion. I know your opinion is that it should be locked and no one ever be allowed to discuss it again, but absent of that, the competitive balance discussion should probably contain competitive balance discussion. That is exactly what his post was. This thread should not contain a bunch of people telling everyone to shut up after every post or telling them their long post is crap after cutting 95% of it. And yeah, that's also my opinion.

And we seem to be back to the point that the whale teams will not disappear when there are newer versions of the games.

I'm asking that you contribute to the competitive balance discussion by starting with a single point other than 'don't change anything'. Because 'don't change anything' repeated hundreds of times in this thread isn't a discussion. It's an end to discussion. And half the people in here are only doing that.

I'd be happy with a good idea, just haven't seen any in this thread that improves the game and/or makes financial sense for the developers.
