Question about licenses & PT teams @OOTPDevs
I have purchased from OOTP directly and on Steam. Based on the policies, I should be allowed to have 6 PT teams, correct?
How do you distinguish which PT teams belong to which license? Currently, I have 3 teams and I log into all 3 on 2 different computers, 1 with the game installed from Steam and 1 with the game installed from OOTP. I think I want to fire up 3 more teams but want to make sure I am following the rules. |

Not a dev, but have some answers for you since I've been through it. I asked if it was OK to have more than three teams if you have a license and was told (I think by Markus) that it was. He just cautioned against any funny business.
Second, when you create one of your second set of three teams, be sure you are signed onto the version of the game that has the available three. They track it by license, so if you've already used your three under your direct purchase, open the game with Steam (or wherever the 2nd one is) and create your additional teams there. If you try to do it under the license/purchase that already has three, it will tell you that you've used them all. Lastly, once you get them created, you can access them in any manner you want as long as you enter the correct username and password. So your direct purchase teams can be accessed under the steam purchased license and vice versa. |

Thanks a lot. I don't know where I created my 3 current teams, so I'll have to figure that out with trial and error. I know where I created the first, not sure about the other 2.
Thanks again for your help. |
