Qualifying Offer Amount

In season, is there a way to check what the upcoming qualifying offer amount is going to be, or what the previous offseason qualifying offer amount was?

In real life, I'm sure you can find that somewhere on the internet.

In OOTP, the Qualifying Offer will always be Equal to the Star Quality Player Typical Salary in the MLB Finances tab in the game settings
or at least it has been in my experience

what happens if you make the Star Player amount higher than the Super Star? Will contract negotiations get stupid as the AI will default to more money than what a player is really worth? Our online league, players rarely ever take the QO even though it is obvious that they should.

If you make the star player amount more than the superstar amount, then everything breaks down and players demand either 1B salaries, or negative salaries. Please don't do that

This.

If at any point one amount is higher than the other in the finances page, you will see players all of a sudden demand a billion dollar annual salary.
