lineup setting question
I don't seem to be able to take a primary position player and also have that player be the first backup for another position. So if I have when I rest Rendon 2B or Carpenter 3B I want the replacement Albies to always play 2b and Rendon 3rd.

Nope you can't do that. You would just have to use 7 day lineups or set the lineup for every game.

Not possible. Don't feel bad, though. OOTP core players have been asking for this for a while now. The AI should really optimize defense when subs are made so that you don't end up with your defensively-mediocre utility IF playing SS while your defensive wizard 2B, who also plays a very good SS, stays at 2B.

Have you tried unchecking the box to sync lineups and depth charts? I might be misunderstanding your question.
