Grabbing that Tom Seaver 1971 Perfect in a pack a few days ago seems to have helped. I clawed my way back to .500 last night, but playing some very tough clubs from the AL today.

Anyone not at work that can tell me how the Area X Warlocks are doing so far today?

You're 57-56 and 3 1/2 GB of Westchester Wolf Pack for 1st place. Won 2 in a row and are 8-2 in the last 10 games. Doing well!

Thanks Humbolt! I'm sure I'll be nowhere close to 3.5 back when I get home from work, so appreciate getting extra good vibes till the inevitable heartbreak.

Don't look now but Koronin's Cowboys has a 22 game win streak in the Perfect Leagues...meanwhile my team has lost 6 in a row

Clinched my division! We went on a crazy run, especially against Westchester, beating them 6 of our last 8 head to head matches.

Wow, Perfect League Playoffs! Not bad for a team with 1971 Seaver and five pretty modest Diamond level cards (1988 Greenwell, 1963 Gary Peters, 1977 Rick Reuschel, 2013 Clayton Kershaw)...

Well, 5 until I just added 1990 Roger Clemens to the arsenal, blowing my full stack of PP since, ****, this might be my only shot at Perfect League glory...

Thanks! Quite a thrill to take Big Bang to game 7. Got one hit by Randy Johnson once there, but Rick Reuschel did me proud holding those bats to 2 runs.

I'm going to assume this is as close as I'll get to the Perfect League championship. Don't think this league is going to get any easier.
