Are Perfect Team Results realistic?

several of my 80+ players are so far under achieving it is pitiful.. i paid good points for Hack Wilson he of .........................350+ avg and 56 homers.. he can't even bat over .220 and hit 20 homers.. this is ridiculous. Maris.. same thing. because of this.. i languish in 4th or 5th with 8 game losing streaks a regularity.. this is frustrating

That's what happens when they have to face Walter Johnson, Pedro Martinez, Chris Sale, and Randy Johnson for every at bat.

I don't know what Hack Wilson's Contact rating is. But I'm going to guess it isn't all that outstanding. He hit something like .356 in a league where the average player hit .303. That's like a .295 hitter in 2018. And I believe Maris hit .269 in 1961, in a league where the average player hit around .260. Then, instead of facing league average pitching, these guys are facing staffs made up of good to great pitchers. What kinds of averages are you expecting these guys to put up?

Edit: I was curious, so I went and did the math. Hack Wilson's 1930 batting average translates to .288 in 2018 NL terms.

This is exactly right. It's all about the competition A Hack Wilson will not have a high average in a Diamond+ league, he'd be happy to hit .250 I guess.
