Where are the collectors?

Of cause, i play Perfect Team (Gold .309), but first of all i collect the Perfect Team Cards...

This thread is for the collectors...

Until now i have only one Diamond Player... Pardon, i bought two diamond players, but unluckily in two different bronze packs there were two Blake Treinen... now i am selling one in the auction house.

So this is my best card:
Name: Blake Treinen.jpg
Views: 429
Size: 17.5 KB

My total cards: 292

2018 Live: 248
One Hit Wonder: 4
Rookie Sensation: 2
All-Time Legend: 1
Historical All-Stars: 27
Future Legend: 1
Record-Breaker: 5
Unsung Heroes: 11
TOP WAR Season: 0

Some of my highest rate cards:

Blake Treinen Live: 96
James Paxton Live: 89
Sean Dolittle Live: 89
Jose Altuve Live: 89
Will Smith Live: 87
J.D. Martinez Live: 86
Zack Wheeler Live: 85
Robinson Cano Live: 84
Jose Alvarado Live: 84
Kerry Wood Historical All-Star: 83
Buster Posey Live: 83
Red Faber Record-Breaker: 83
Xander Bogaerts Live: 83
Keone Kela Live: 82
Lefty Grove Historical All-Star: 81
Dustin Pedroia Historical All-Star: 80
Joe Cronin Historical All-Star: 80

That's all my diamond and gold players.

I am a Red Sox fan, so i have 42 cards from the Red Sox, including future legend Tanner Houk (79).

Are you a collector? how many cards do you own right now?

916 cards for me with all the players with Expos logo on it.

Best cards are Pedro(96) and Gary Carter (93). My collection is only via packs opening and trade via AH.

When PT first launched, I missed the fact that tournaments, collectors achievements and the like would not make it into OOTP 19, so I was holding on to some things in anticipation of later being able to sell to people looking for cards for those reasons. Between that, my own 'collector' desires kicking in, and the auction interface being physically painful to use, I've ended up with a fair amount of cards. Alltogether, I have 1756 cards, but that includes 539 duplicates, to bring my total unique cards to 1217. I've only recently switched to only selling duplicates, which I probably should have done awhile ago. I also need to spend some time on getting rid of the low level duplicates, but when its literally painful to do so, I have trouble finding the motivation.

Yes, why not? People collect digital photos, too

They take up a lot less space in the house than my physical card collection, personally collected by me, dating back to cards from the 40's. I have a very large walk-in closet that is nothing but baseball cards boxes and display notebooks from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. My wife likes this idea much better.

I don't display the duplicates when I check my collection.

Currently sitting at 1573/2460

2018 MLB Live Card (1221/1248) Must be a ton more common to get these cards.
One Hit Wonder (30/52)
Rookie Sensation (21/56)
All-Time Legend (11/103)
Historical All-Star (137/570)
Future Legend (18/50)
Record-Breaker (53/167)
Unsung Heroes (78/163)
Top WAR Season (4/51)

Goal is to eventually have one of each, wish the MLB Live Cards weren't so insanely common comparatively.

But when the server gets turned off for ootp 19 they're gone... or are there plans for a 'view only' feature stored locally after the servers are turned off?

They are not gone. Only the simulations will be shut down once OOTP 21 is released (or later), you still will be able to view your cards after that.

We will also add a "View legacy collection" feature to OOTP 20 and beyond, so no card ever gets lost
