I got the Gryphons in the other conference (thankfully). Seems like your side has a lot more heavyweights. I saw you and the Wolf had slower starts but both seem to have it going now. Good luck this season! Well except if we meet for a series or two!

nice, should be a fun season. there are a lot of teams I have played with in the prior two seasons. Would be nice to get a few of them in here as well.
Does the batting avg of our gold league mean anything? like do the higher avg numbers mean the better league? |

Frankenthal Palatines .... I start to feel like a 10-year old playing with adults

Ha says the guy who took 2 of 3 from me first series we met and started my spiral from first down to third in the standings!! Should be a tight race I'm sure. Tough competition, but as I said I think more of the real heavyweights are in the other conference so at least we can be happy about that!

I'm really noticing that it's hard to get consistent good pitching numbers now. Maybe 4.25 is the new 3.25? All my best guys get rocked fairly regularly. I'm always shocked when I get an 8 inning performance with less than 3 runs against now. And man, even my diamonds can't seem to produce on the mound.

Looks like one of the Kawhi Leanords will not 3 peat.
Like the idea of a league thread.

We just got 100 PP's for ending a 7-game skid ... and my guys already are working on the next reward
![]() You can see how tough the Gold Level is when the Wolf is below .600 with his All-STar team

Man, it's tough sledding. Tweaked the roster a little. I had three diamond starters exchanging in and out of the rotation and none seem to be performing for me so I got rid of Carrasco. Hated doing it and took a little hit selling. But after a 2-7 stretch mid-month I finished a little stronger. There's no break from those all-star teams you speak of. Moved back in front of California and still back of Seattle. But dropped from 3rd in the power rankings to 10th - probably closer to where my team actually ranks.
This will be the key month for the division I think. We play each other (all 5 teams) a lot. I wish you all good luck - maybe not so much when you play the Gryphs please... go easy. |

had a better month, but still no where near my .700+ win percent I had been having before this season. I did switch out a few things and found my new MVP player. GOAT Utility player. Anyone ever see something like this guy before?
![]() Guy has decent batting ratings, crazy speed/stealing/baserunning, can play decent catcher (since u need a 2nd catcher on your team), and every other infield position. ![]() how is a catcher that fast? |

Short answer... heck no. I mean I have a couple guys between my 3 teams that are pretty versatile. But no catcher that can hit (80+ contact?), run, play infield and outfield spots, and actually isn't an awful defensive catcher. *** goes to the auction house to do a quick search... ***

heh yeah, I have been trying to decide if I should be slotting him in as an everyday player at a position instead of ultimate utility player backup to all. I went into the player strategy section to make him more aggressive with stealing and base running to see if even as a not everyday player if he could help me get some more of the stealing achievements.

No chance at all in this league ... and I don't really have a bad team
![]() Looking forward to playing competitive baseball again in Silver Level play next season

Was a fun division. At one point looked like I wasn’t going to make playoffs but made one or two tweaks and ended up finishing really strong at 100 wins and playoffs. Our division definitely had the least whale like teams- especially if the gryphons were the one to judge by. I’m expecting I’ll be a quick out of the payoffs but regardless fun season and I learned a few tricks.

Took the KWL team to the brink going 2-0 to start the series then dropped 3 in a row to taste bitter defeat this time around. Regular season wonders who can't finish in the post season. Oh well... next year!
