Transferable Season

Hey guys. I love this game and recently found out my father is interested in trying it out. I started a Mets season from 2017 when I had OOTP 17 and kept transferring as I got OOTP 18 and 19. Anyway, I am in 2021 and like where I am at. My father wants to take over a team and has his own laptop. There is no way I can make my 2021 season available on his right? We'd both have to play my 2021 season my laptop, correct? Thanks.

You can copy the entire saved game folder (xxx.lg where xxx is the name of your league) to the equivalent directory on his laptop, then Load Game. From that point, he will be playing a different instance of the game and it will not have the same outcomes as yours. If he wants to manage a different team, then you can do that with commissioner mode (resign and then take over another team).

He would have more fun if you bought him his own copy of OOTP19 and let him play whatever team he wants. It is on sale for $5.

Thanks! Yea, the reason I asked this was because I loved where I was in my 2021 season (September 4th and playoff bound) and he was looking to pick up a club in my 2021 season. I appreciate the feedback.
