Park factor theory questions

I asked this on discord but I thought I'd also ask here.

If I make the park factor for HR to be 1.1 for RHB, do my RHB have to be extreme pull fly ball hitters to take full advantage of it? If they aren't pull hitters, will they lose most of that 10% addition?

If I make the park factor for AVE to be 1.1 for LHB, will the batting average of all LHB be 10% higher (over a large enough sample)? Or do some batted ball profiles for LHB make them take more advantage of that?

Obviously the question is easy to answer in real life, but I cannot find enough information about park factors to determine how that bonus or penalty is applied and whether it's equal or dependent on the type of hitter and batted ball profile.

No, it doesn't matter. All RH batters will benefit.

Yes, it benefits all LH batters.

Now you are probably going to ask why there are pull hitters and fly ball hitters in the first place. I think it only factors into which way the ball is hit and to which fielders. I believe that whether it is a hit or not, and what type of hit, is determined first. Then the where.

That was my theory as well, but I kept wondering if extreme pull fly ball hitters would be even better with a 1.1 HR factor and if I should be targeting those.

I've read elsewhere how the pitching profile affects outcomes (ie extreme flyball pitchers are more HR prone, Ex GB pitchers give up more hits, et al). Do batting profiles play a similar role?

In addition to the question posed above regarding ballpark settings, does the batting profile have hidden bonuses or penalties when facing certain types of pitchers, whether it be based on their profile or some other rating/setting?

I made my park heavily weighted to LH batters and it's worked out well. You can also adjust the wind and city (for temperature). I have my wind blowing out to right field at 11mph. That seems to help the pull hitter/fly ball batters that I've loaded up on. Kyle Schwarber is killing it in all 3 of my Bronze leagues.

B242 league - leading the league in wins and HRs currently. 6 LH batters and 5 LH starters. :-)

What is the window to change park factors again? 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday, or has that changed?

It is from when the playoffs begin (unless you made the playoffs) to the 7th day of the new season.

That's the 7th *game* day, not the 7th IRL day. Which I guess is obvious since the 7th IRL day ends the season. :-)

Does the park measurements/distance and wall height make a difference at all, or just the multipliers?

I've set CF at 425', but shallowed out the RF and LF, while giving a high wall in left.

Nope. They are purely cosmetic. The only things that matter are the park factors.
