Now you get another crack at him. It was a longshot for me this year, as he had the better roster this time, but I couldn't upset him, like he did me. Took him to the ninth tied, though. I always hated the current baseball postseason system, but I hate it more now playing PT. You had the best record by far, and your reward was getting to face a 100 win team in the Division Series, while the second best team gets to face a team that didn't even win 90. Ridiculous! I'm one and out just due to the luck of the division draw getting Catalina Island instead of Montreal. When will baseball get a clue and implement a fair system? Oh yeah, never again. Silly me. |

Won my division handily, now I get to go up against the second-best team in the league, who had 11 more wins than I did. Game 1 pitching matchup is Severino vs Severino. This should be interesting.

It's not a good sign when the team literally chooses a whale for their logo...good luck!

Well, I lost game one of the playoffs. I am definitely facing a more talented team as they have 4 diamond starters that I will have to contend with.
That said I only lost game one to Pedro Martinez by a score of 3-2 and they scored the go ahead run on an error by my shortstop. ---------- And just lost game 2 even though his Altuve card committed 3 errors. Kluber kept my team in check for 7.0 innings Last edited by Maddox; 12-16-2018 at 12:32 PM. |

Just won game one of the playoffs in the bottom of the 10th Inning. Game was tied 2-2 then Lou Gehrig hit a home run getting us 2 runs scored and winning the game.

Wow, what are the odds of this? Both of my teams finished with the exact same record of 66-96.

And with an 11 inning loss in game 3 I got swept and once again make an early exit from the playoffs. I take a little comfort (very little) that two of the three games against diamond pitchers were decided by one run.
Next season could be rough. Moving up to Gold League after I barely made it above .500 with my team that has no players above a gold could definitely make for a long week. Last edited by Maddox; 12-16-2018 at 01:14 PM. |

Okay, I will make it short. Not that unlikely.

Chazzy, I can't believe we're actually gonna fight each other for a trip to the World Series!! Good luck, whoever wins the NC Pennant had better win it all! I hope we get to stick in the same league again after this because you're my favorite team to root for! <3

EDIT - One good thing that happened this season was one of my pitchers won the pitching triple crown. |

Lost game 5, 0-1 thats was a pretty tie game, And nearly a no hitter for my rival pitcher Scherzer.
Pretty proud of my club, they play well at home, and very bad on the road lol. Last edited by Morug; 12-16-2018 at 04:04 PM. |

It's on. Taking my first crack at my league's superteam. The Condors, 0-7 vs. the Aggies this season, are probably getting crushed though.

I beat Winder Wet Willies in 5 games during the divisional series with the Cooper Gutter Cats....gotta love my opponents name.
On to the league championship series. |

I mean, yeah, it's not like they're running all diamonds or perfects, but for a team that has spend less than 1k in the auction house on role players, and otherwise literally just opens a gold pack when I reach 5k in PP, I think they've done quite well for themselves. |

Holy crap, Larry Dierker to the rescue. Shut down Trout and Yelich, while my offense wore down Kluber.
That's a nice start against the team that swept me during the regular season. |
