I would bet PP that this is the same "owner" for both of these teams. Imagine his dilemma. "Oh snap. Now what do I do?"

With 27 runs on only 22 hits, how many of those 15 walks was in the last inning and who was the pitcher(s)?

Last season Joe Musgrove had a sub-three ERA for me, but i feel a special need to mention that Josh Fields has never, literally ever given up a run for me. Taking him out of my bullpen was the hardest thing to do LOL

My Warner had 63 and led the league. One more than his 1932 total in a neutral home park.

R. Cook...7H,11R,3BB
E.Andrus...3H,8R,6BB
T.Perez...2BB

Yeah, I left the bases loaded to boot. Not exactly a huge accomplishment against a SS and 3b pitching...but the 7,000 PP I picked up turned the season around for me.

So was this one of those "meatball" teams that was posted about? I think there are things in place to prevent that, so I'm guessing the team ran out of relievers and put in position players?

Y'know...I'm not really too worried. I just put it up because 22 runs in an inning, whatever the reason, is waaaaaaaay out of the ordinary.

As far as meatballs go, I think it was the Cosmic Possums who bit**slapped me 17-3, but they scored over a number of innings. It happens, even to a team like mine (108-54 last season). We all get meatballed sometimes. Laugh about it and move on.

1932 Paul Waner is one of my favorite bronze cards.

1902 Topsy Hartsel is another great bronze option. He has 88 plate discipline and good speed, so he makes a nice leadoff hitter. Mine finished the last season with a .360 OBP and 46 stolen bases. The year before his OBP was ~.390
