Wow, 127-17! It would be interesting to see how that team does when the competition gets tougher. A team in my current league had won something like 135 games in a bronze league, but currently is nearly equal with 3 other teams in the silver league.

August was terrible for me with 10-19 including a superb losing streak of 10 in a row. September is hard but a little better to date with 6-5.

What is your strategy in the last 2 month of the season? to date in each season since the beta of PT, my team are very good for the first 3 month but suck for the last 2 to 3 month.

But if I get swept, I'll probably be 2 back with 16 to play.
Dropped 3 out of 4 and am now tied for the 2nd wild card 1 1/2 out of the 1st spot. But I've gone from the hardest schedule with 25 games to go to the easiest schedule with 16 games to go. Think I am in a good spot and I really want to make the WC. I am going to get promoted to Gold regardless and next year I am going to struggle, I am not a SuperTeam. Any chance to get more points before next year is needed.

My bullpen has been disappointing all year, so I poured some points into it to add Tug McGraw and Goose Gossage. The new blood has helped and I am now fighting with two other teams for a wild card spot. RF/DH Gavvy Cravath has a good shot at the MVP (.294/.351/.581, 39 HR, 109 RBI) and he is hot down the stretch. I am going to be promoted and I am pretty sure this team will then be at its highest level of incompetence.

And just like normal when I swap new guys into the lineup and they perform pathetically at first

My new SP (85 overall) has an ERA over 10 after one start
My new CF (88 overall) is 4 for 30 for a .148 BA

This almost seems like it happens too often to be a coincidence.

Last season, my team had an amazing September (and a good August too) and so far in September this season, we're doing really well again. My only guess as to a possible cause for a problem like this (besides bad luck) would be that other teams might be upgrading faster than you are. In each of the last 2 Septembers, for example, a new player acquisition made a significant contribution for my team (but that's also partly due to luck). But with that said, I still think it's mostly just luck (well, unless you aren't upgrading your team at all during the season).

Hopefully, your luck will change and you'll have a good September this time.

My new SP's numbers are ridiculously good. He's only a silver starter, but should be a gold.

Yeah, I always upgrade/change my club during a season..I played against very good team in august too, sure that dont help..but the first season its was against team inferior to me. Maybe OTTP engine who give a little push to team who are behind my club and want a spot in playoff, I dont know.

Its better in september to date, 10-6.

7 of my last 14 games are against really strong teams. One of them has a .747 WPct and the other has made significant upgrades and has been playing really well so I'm worried about being able to hang on. I've got the #2 WC lead by 3.5 games and that team has not been doing well and the team behind him is 5 GB and doing poorly of late too so maybe we can pull this off. I want that little 1K bonus for making the playoffs so I can get another upgrade.

Minutemen (58-92) are finding new ways to lose. How can you lose when your pitcher does this

Bears (66-84) after a 19-8 April, it was all down hill.

Most of my starting lineup and starters are from past generations, but with the exception of my closer, Satchel Paige, most of my bullpen are current relievers and they are killing it.

Despite having fallen to 72-78 (and still falling), the Raccoons might still get into Gold League, but the lead over 17th in the league is now just 2 1/2 games.

I can't find a catcher (Realmuto, Hicks, Perez, all failing), or a second baseman (Cano ) for my life. My rotation was in a state of flux all year long.

Without my Mike Trout (.316/.458/.531, 25 HR, 81 RBI, and he came on only a few weeks into the season) I would be in some real trouble…

I just bought a Barker and a Medina future legend. The two best silvers. They'll go nicely with the best gold Dierker.

I'd feel a lot better if we didn't have a dreadful start to the season (19-35 in April & May). We're 56-46 since then and in 17th place, just 1/2 game behind the last promotion spot. I'm sure we would be better off not getting promoted, but I'd rather get promoted. We made a couple upgrades, and I like our chances in our last six games.

I'm the same way in this respect. If my team were on the verge of not getting promoted, I'd still try even knowing it means it will be tough going for the next season.

If the friends feature works, maybe we'll end up in the same league next season. And considering my slow pace at upgrading recently, you might have an opponent that can do wonders for your WPct.

Hopefully the friends feature is working, and hopefully I can hang on to my slim lead and get promoted, because that would be fun. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I like to compete, even if that means taking my lumps.

I don't know if you'd be an easy win! I do like my team, but they haven't managed to play well for long periods of time yet. It's been two steps forward, one step back since we've started.

Edit - and right after I posted we put up our best game since go live with an 18-0 win, so that makes me happy. I think that was more PP than the past two days combined.

My team has 3 games to go against a good team (the #1 WC team) and our magic # is 1. But we're in a tailspin - we've won only 4 of our last 12.
