What a day!

My Nagoya 91ers have been situated in a fairly tough division and had a rough go of things to start off with. Started the day with ~4600 PP, thanks mainly to a 6 hit game from backup outfielder Ichiro (the good one). Bought 4 packs, one of which presented me with a second Manny Machado. Put him on the AH, and he nearly instantly sold for the 3500 BIN (I guess it was a little low). I had enough for 4 packs again, bought through them and got a diamond Lindor, meaning my beloved Ripken was now expendable. Put him on the AH, sold the couple of bronzes I'd need to sell to be able to get 1 more pack, and in that pack I get my first ever PT perfect in Mike Trout so now I'm in the Trout cool kids club! Comment down below with your "cool story bro"s.

Drawing a perfect is special.

I'm trying a team with only drawing gold packs, although they were helped by getting a gold I-Rod card in my starter set, which sold for nearly 15k itself. Had the luxury since they also had the silver Gary Carter, so pretty stocked behind the plate. With the 3 new gold packs I bought from the I-Rod sale? Pulled a gold Yogi Berra, which I'm guessing should sell for another 3-4 gold packs worth of cards. Knowing this team, they'll probably draw a Piazza in one of them.

Had to buy my Betts perfect and almost ready to buy my perfect Sale.

Last 20-25 packs have been rough for me. Nothing better than a gold once or twice

Hey, I think we're in the same division. I'm the Bandits. Every team is over .500 right now. It's nuts!

Also, I added you as a friend if you're interested in some continuity and friendly faces.

My flaw is getting guys I like - such as Ohtani, when I have a strong rotation and outfield. He's meant to be a middle reliever and first baseman...right?

I've had an issue where I can only be at my PC half the time as I still live at home and wasn't gonna haul my desktop back and forth depending on which house I was staying at at the time. My laptop finally came in a couple of days ago so I'll be full go for PT from now on.

I find that my disinterest in today's MLB works in my favor there, I can focus my efforts on just grabbing the best players I can get. Put $30 in and otherwise have had strong luck in pack pulls and selling on the AH. If I get a diamond Stan Musial like I had in the beta though, he's going in left field no matter who I have that's better.

Which is the good one? I'm beginning to believe I don't have that one.

Well, the one with the best contact (86). I think of the other 2, one has more speed and the other is a better fielder, but to me the one with the best contact rating is solid enough in both spots to warrant a starting spot (and he's my DH anyways, getting Trout pushed my Acuna Jr. to RF).

The good Ichiro is the 2004 Record Breaker. I have him on both of my teams and pulled both of them as well. I think I had two of them in beta. Seems to be everywhere.

Yeah, everyone wants some Ichiro love. I was bidding on one of these same types way back and nearly won him for 250 until someone hit the BIN. So I went ahead and grabbed the other one on the market for like a 450 BIN and he's been a backup until he was hitting nearly .450 a third of the way through this season.

Ichiro should be a silver card.

Record breaker has an 86 contact rating if you do 1-100, while the rookie has somewhere from 79 to 81.

I switched to 1-100 scouting. Sad day.
