I really love your work. Out of curiosity have you ever considered doing a tutorial on how you do some of this stuff?

Hey Tx,
You been spoiling us for many years with your work that gets better and better as time goes by. Have you ever given any thought or interest in posting your Top 9 favorite (for nine field positions) of all time logos and/or uniform sets that you have created, and released either privately or publicly, over the years? Maybe some of your all-time favorites are based off of family related things like a school that someone went to or played ball at. Maybe while making a certain logo or uniform you mastered a certain technique that you had been working on, that made your work so much better, etc. Or maybe you got a logo that you created that "rocked" right from the start. ![]() I'm sure many of your faithful followers would love to see and read about what makes them so special to you. |

Marshall Rockets
Marshall Rockets After WWII, the U.S. Army established the nearby McAlester Ammunitions and Rocket Depot... Captured German V-2 rockets were tested here... Marshall is known as the "Industrial Rocket Center." |

Hobbs Lumber Company
Hobbs Lumber Company I saw this t-shirt design the other day with a similar design to the one I made below... It is described as follows: Roy Hobbs Lumber Company Hobbs Family Farm. Birthplace of the best there ever was and the "wonderboy" model baseball bat. Inspired by The Natural. Needless to say I had to make my version of a logo and a uniform set... Guess after baseball Roy went back home and started a lumber business on the family farm... The business did so well they had their own baseball team and were coached by Roy Hobbs... Wondering if I could get some help, primarily for a logo for the 1947 Fond du Lac Panthers? I whipped up jerseys/caps based off the one picture I can find but would like an era-appropriate logo. I would also be more than happy to see finer-designed jerseys and caps.

Sweetwater Swatters
Sweetwater Swatters
Team started 1920 season in Gorman, Tx before moving to Sweetwater..."Swatter" is baseball slang for batter or hitter, especially power hitters who "swat" lots of extra-base hits and home runs... |

Fond du Lac Panthers I found a 1948 reproduction cap that was dark green with a red F... Thought that might be the best way to go on the colors... |

If anyone could come up with a logo or logos that might be usable for a team called the Missouri Gatekeepers, for seasons after 1964, based on the pictures below, I'd be most appreciative, for sure, folks. The primary logo should be 300x300, while the secondary or other alternate should probably be 150x150, please, if it's not too much of a problem for any of you here. I'm not quite sure just what might be best in terms of the logo or logos, but I think the font used for the caps and the uniforms is Pro Stock Block, if I'm not too mistaken here. Shapes and looks of the logos I will leave up to you, but please do try to use at least a few of the visible colors, in any case.
I'm not sure if I want or need any updates to the items shown above for the 1980's or later times yet, to be completely honest here. But I think the above set would be suitable enough for the team in question at least through the end of the 1980 season, potentially. I didn't really do much to create the related plaid pattern, other than to visit a certain site, the name of which currently escapes me, if I'll ever remember it again. But I still was able to get the related plaid designed some time ago easily enough somehow, quite a while before that virtual world I was part of eventually closed, for sure. Thanks in advance if anyone can do this for me here, as well. CD out. |

Chicago White Sox 1932 alternate
Chicago White Sox 1932 alternate
I had never encountered this alternate version till the other day... It was made a while back by the great No Pepper, but for some reason I never saw it in his collection... Had to make a logo and update the uniforms... Last edited by txranger; 12-20-2018 at 07:37 PM. |
