You have a fun division... very tight battles and the teams at the bottom currently went far in our bronze league last season. In fact, Dekalb went the distance! And they did it without all 100's.

Good luck in that group... should be a good race.

Probably close to half the 100's should be low 90's. They guarantee nothing except a decently strong team, not nearly a Perfect Team.

Yeah I'm convinced there is no way to guarantee a team of 100's will beat out a team of carefully selected golds with the right balance. Mind you there are silvers that seem to perform better against good competition than in the entry pool and often better than much higher ranked players!

I still have 6 silvers on my team that I can't find anyone to outperform for the job they do without way overpaying.

My Astros team made the playoffs in Bronze league last year but has been absolutely horrible in Silver league. The teams aren't that stacked either.

He's some 'highlights'. Their stats as of July 8th:

Altuve, 2B, (89 Ovr): .219/.267/.312, 358 PA
Wynn, CF (86 Ovr): .185/.292/.346, 340 PA
McCann, C (60 Ovr): .176/.246/.390, 175 PA (Understandable, he is a 60)

Everyone else is at least batting .230 with a .300 OBP but I only have 3 starters slugging over .400

Oswalt, SP (86 Ovr): 4-8, 5.35 ERA, 116 IP
Morton, SP/RP (79 Ovr): 0-1, 6.94 ERA, 35.1 IP
Kerfeld, RP (78 Ovr): 1-1, 7.40 ERA, 24.1 IP

I play at Colt Stadium, a big pitchers park too. Whole thing kind of makes me want to tap out.

Well, after my recent 8-game winning streak ended things didn't go all that smooth

Okay, it just brought me 250 PP's - the guys probably waited until it gave us the biggest reward

Corbin just threw his second no-hitter of the season for my Humboldt Green. Investing in defense pays off!

The "Brewers project" is taking shape - just ridiculously overpaid for the 1981 Rollie Fingers, Starting Pitchers, catcher and Rightfielder are hard to come by, though.

Where’s Charlie Moore when you need him?

Never mind that the season is a write-off, but while I was at my accounting course the team didn't get just one, but two gold achievements.

But I know one more team that got a payout.

Sometimes I just want to facepalm. I need to buy five packs right now just to sooth my troubled soul. I could use a hug regardless.

So true, my friend, so true

And where are Ted Higuera, Mike Caldwell, Pete Vuckovich .... and Gorman Thomas?

Here's your hug

But what's the requirement for a "blowout inning"?

(sniff)

Apparently, 15 runs in a single inning gives you the gold achievement, but I don't know whether that is the minimum. I don't recall ever scoring even 10 before.

And you scored 15 runs in the first and lost 16:15?

I wonder what the other team got for that comeback

I think they won 10k PP and a share in the company.

I blame the AI. In 50 years, the real Raccoons have never blown even a 10-run lead under my auspices! Not that I remember at least. Sometimes the brain can auto-erase severe trauma, y'know…?

I wonder if you could have a functional team with people named Lefty. I have Lefty O'Doul on my team I have seem 2-3 others out there.

And we have a series at the end of the month at your park. I think we're going to have a new division leader tonight.
