Deeper Trading Preferences

Maybe to help some of the trade AI problems, there could be a screen for the GM that has sliders for general preferences. The team needs screen is okay, but we could include preferences for the things we see in the GM screen (veterans v. prospects, pitching v. hitting, etc.), adding in the personal attributes, such as leadership and loyalty. Some GMs are willing to put up with low work ethic players if they're skilled enough, some aren't. It would pare down the number of trade offers GMs will summarily reject anyway. It would also provide focus when an owner goal is to acquire a high leadership player (which otherwise takes lots of work to find).

Deeper trading preferences will help sculpt organizational identity, leading to a more satisfying game experience.

I'd rather see the trade logic improved first before anything new gets added.

As the trade AI stands now, I reject 99.99% of trades proposed to me because they are so...preposterous.

I'm hoping that narrowing the field of what you'll accept from within the trade engine will obviate some of those ridiculous requests from happening.

I would bet that 99% of real MLB teams' opening offers are rejected too.

But surely real life GMs aren't trying to trade rebuilding teams 43-year-olds for three prospects. If they are I'm happy for a setting that lets me auto-reject those offers.

Edit - Also setting needs is a pain because you get all these "I heard you were looking for a catcher, perhaps you'd like to trade for this five star player we're never going to give up".
