Another thing to consider, executing the promotion / relegation always takes a bit of manual work here from our server admin. And if we moved the playoffs to a Saturday, the admin would have to work on Sundays. He is a really nice dude, but I am not sure he'd sacrifice his Sundays for the sake of PT users in Europe.

I was not aware of that - I would have thought this is done fully automatically. That of course is a major point. Probably one that would just dictate the schedule no matter what the community would want.

This discussion did come up during the beta, and there were some great points on both sides.

The one thing to remember, just because the beta is over, doesn't mean we aren't open to changes. We are constantly gathering suggestions made here, on Twitter, in the Discord and looking at them to see if A) they make sense, B)are something we keep hearing over and over.

Not saying it will ever happen, but keep the suggestions coming, its the only way we'll ever know what the community wants

I hope the decisions are made based on what is best for the company, the game, and its players, and not based on who makes the loudest stink on social media.

Most of the players never post here or anywhere else but change the schedule too much and many more will. Whether it is fair or not Americans are the biggest part of the pie. A major change in schedule might awaken the sleeping giant.(customers)
