I am 89-46 and 3 games back we have 6 games left in September so I still have a good chance to catch him. He is doing a very good job. I really thought with my team I would over take him but he knows how to play this game. Hats off To Lake Monroe who ever he may be.....

Really crashing and burning as the season draws to a close. Guess it's just my Mets lineup doing Mets things.

So I'm currently in 3rd place overall, 2nd in division. No one is catching the Carnivores (all diamond/gold and a 100 trout). I spent about $30 upfront after I pretty much just got Furillo and A. Simmons after the initial packs.
Still have some of that pp left though. Managed to get Robin Roberts and a few golds in packs, and then grabbed Acuna, Ichiro, and Aparicio off the AH. Def Eff is 1st. Ripken plays 3rd, and Didi 2nd. They're up to high 60s at least in position rating. In the last 24 hours, via 2 separate 1k packs, I landed Scherzer and then Strasburg this morning. May hold Stras out until after Sunday. Rotation has been pitching very well. Conley and Money have been great bronze cards this season. |

At the beginning of the season, there was a pretty big gap between the 'stacked teams' and everyone else, if you judged by overall alone. I was at the bottom of the stacked teams (again just judging by overall), but had the best record in the league for the first couple of months. IIRC the other stacked teams seemed to have a lot of the higher overall live cards that have a tendency to not actually do so well. Most of those cards have since been replaced, and I haven't improved enough to keep up, so I'm now fourth in the league record-wise
My Holliston Homers were the second to clinch their division though, doing so on September 3rd, as we were the only 'stacked' team in the division. The second place 'La Porte Legends' have put together a really great low-budget team, and I think they might even have a winning record against me. I'm rooting for them in the wildcard. In general, I rather enjoy watching the lower budget teams, and if I can't take the WS, I hope one of them do. |

I am 23 games over .500 (but I have no chance to win the division) but I wonder how much better I would be if my bullpen did not rank dead last in the American Conference. |

Woke up this morning to find the Healy Hoggs on a 5-game losing streak and back under .500 at 70-72. It might be a long month...
EDIT: And in my sleepiness I moved Trea Turner to the reserve roster when I only wanted to move him out of the starting lineup. D'oh!

I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one who has accidentally moved a player to the reserve roster.

After going 11-1 to start the season my Thrashers were in a free fall for most of the year. After three straight losing months we seem to have turned a corner in August 16-12. We've been out of the division race for a while, but hold a small lead for the second Wild Card.

Not sure if anyone here is in the NY MY season with me, but man, I can't get my star players to play like stars. Had a 7 game lead on the Calgary team behind me but struggling to find any rhythm against good teams and playing under .500 has let him catch and pass me despite doing my best to manage my players.

As of Sept 12, all but 2 teams have been eliminated from Wild Card contention in AE League's National Conference, with the closest competition being 19 games back. However, those 2 teams have not yet been eliminated from their division races.
Luckily, there is a little more parity in the AC. |

I woke up to find my team now having a 2.5 game lead for the #2 wild card spot (we're only 73-73). Even more surprising was that we had a 3 game series against the Durham team that has the best record in both conferences and we swept them 1-0, 6-0, 5-0. They have 865 runs scored so far which is the best in the league so that was a real shocker. We're now 6-4 in our last 10 Gs with them. Nevertheless, I still expect my team to get clobbered in the playoffs. But, who knows?

My magic number is 3 to secure a Playoff berth (wildcard). I need to remember to tweak my Pitching staff later so that My best pitcher is available for that wildcard game. I am 85-59 so far with no perfect or diamond cards and only 6 gold players on the roster.
I actually am currently running with 6 golds, 10 silvers, 7 bronze and 2 commons. Below is how they are performing in my conference. My Bullpen ERA was 15th at the start of the day so it is getting better. I have been working on that the last day or so. I could use big bat to get me homeruns but good HR hitters are expensive and I feel like a few of my big hitters will hit more next season. Orlando Cepeda has 80 contact and 76 Homerun power but has only manage 19 so far. My SS has 56 home run power and also has 19 so either Cepeda is under performing or the SS is over performing. |

You have a very solid team, that looks like the team to beat. Honestly your bench looks like it would be a top team as well. Bloomington is tough too. I'll definitely need some playoff luck. If it's like the beta we'll probably move up together, so that will be a good challenge, although I'd prefer to not be in the same division as either of you! |

Sure! Here's Durham's roster. My pitchers who shut them out had OVRs of 84, 77 and 65.

Thanks a lot. I build this team for the Championship and hope it will work out. I'd like to see my reserve roster to play, wonder if they will also have a good record, cause right now I am wasting them, for sure.
