High School League

I have been playing for a couple weeks now with historic MLB leagues. love the game.

Wanted to explore what the High School option of the game was.

Half assed created a HS league and players were in their late 20s...??

Anyone play on the High School setting and have any advice on if its worth trying or any general suggestions. Thanks in advance. -K

It's used as a feeder league.

Don't think it was meant to be used as a "regular" league. I could be wrong, though.

I've never played a high school league on its own but there is an age setting for the league. I believe there are two different places in the league setting screen and you have to match them both up. One will set the created players age min/max and the other will change when players will leave the league (age out).

There should be age settings. Huh. Check in options.

Under League Settings you can set min & max ages. Keep in mind though if you are creating a game for a league like this it will not behave as an amateur league. It will be a major league with age limits.

To get he experience you are looking for you might consider using the MLB Quick Start and adding a HS feeder league. It will automatically set age limits for you.As players "graduate" (meaning pass the max age of 18) new players will automatically be added to your team. The graduating players go into the parent ML draft pool.

Feeder teams hire & fire just like minor league teams do. You can take one over in jut the same way. There is no financial system so all you have to do is manage the games and line ups. I took over one of my feeders a while back. It was kind of cool seeing my former players get drafted and play in the majors.
