Promotion/Relegation Adjacent Suggestions
This is a list of suggestions that would make it a lot smoother to run a promotion/relegation system.
This is currently workable with the game right, but involves a lot of manual workaround that gets more and more cumbersome the larger the universe becomes.
1. A more robust Market Size scale that could cover tiered leagues. Currently, anytime a team changes leagues I need to manually go in and adjust their market size because a big fish in a small pond becomes relatively smaller as they move to a lake and then the ocean, etc. It would be nice if there was a scale that could account for this. Would also appreciate a way to turn off the feature where Market Size evolves (i.e. I want to control that myself, don't want the game to do it randomly or based on success or however it is done now).
2. Feeder League without a draft. To simulate how real life pro/reg systems work it would be nice to have a system where players feed the leagues but get signed as free agents instead of drafted. The workaround currently is to create a standalone High School and/or College league, but there are difficulties with that which include timing issues as to when the league starts, how to set the age limits, etc. Often players end up somewhere in the ether never getting signed.
