A perfect Perfect Team

Wow, this is a team in my league I really like ... unfortunately the Brewers don't have enough to do this:

Thanks guys. And I didn't spend a dime to get that group together. Got really lucky though. Early on, I decided to buy a pack of cards with points I had earned and try my luck. Got a 98 out of that one pack. Was able to sell it for over 20k early on and around the same time Curtis Pride hit for a natural cycle for another 5k. So I was impatient and overspent to accumulate that group quickly. Just now added Parrish to the mix. Still need a CF and some better pitching though. But just about all the loot is spent, so probably going to be awhile before I can improve it much more. This has already been a tremendous amount of fun. Looking forward to seeing a lot of these guys (Trammel, Parrish, Whitaker, etc.) that I grew up watching play, compete again alongside the other Tiger legends.

Great job

I'm the Frankenthal Palatines chasing you in the Central Division ... and I got my PP's by selling the Mookie Betts-card early on

Thanks much. You have put together a great team and it looks like it will be tough just to hang with you over the course of the season.

Well done on a well executed theme team. Luck may have played a part, but it still took a bit of skill to assemble, I'd think.

I intend to do themes like this as well, but not until much, MUCH later. I figure, why collect cards if I'm not going to use them in interesting and unique ways...

My Dodger team has all Dodgers on it, but I don't have most of the diamond level Dodgers except for Justin Turner. Hope to get a Piazza, Campanella, Furillo, Snider, Koufax, Kershaw and Sutton. Need more historicals and less 2018s starting.

Starting Lineup
Austin Barnes, Gil Hodges, Steve Garvey, Jim Gilliam, Justin Turner, Manny Machado, Tommy Davis, Willie Davis, Alex Verdugo

Bench
A.J. Ellis, Max Muncy, Bill Grabarkewitz, Chris Taylor

Starting Pitching
Orel Hershiser, Walker Buehler, Rich Hill, Yadier Alvarez, Hyun-Jin Ryu

Bullpen
Dylan Floro, Pedro Baez, Tony Cingrani, Ryan Madson, Scott Alexaner, Alex Wood

Reserve Roster
Kenta Maeda, Cody Bellinger, Steve Sax, KiKe Hernanez, Joc Pederson, David Freese, Andrew Toles, Ross Stripling, Jack Quinn, Josh Fields, Julio Urias, Maury Wills, John Axford, Hugh Casey, Bill Russell, Zach McAllister, Zac Rosscup, Daniel Hudson, Matt Kemp, Edward Paredes, Kyle Farmer, Pat Venditte, J.T. Chargois, Yimi Garcia

Tom 'Plowboy' Morgan (a pitcher on theTigers) .....As a little kid attending my first Detroit Tiger game in old Briggs stadium on Opening Day (1958, I think), I observed Morgan lay down a sac bunt. Wild throw to first. Morgan does his best to lumber into 2nd prompting another throw....wild into left...Plowboy gathers himself and streaks to third....wild throw!!!! He lumbers home. So, it was the first, and only time, I witnessed a 'home run' on a bunt.

Does Piazza have a Mets card? If he's only a dodger I'll be bummed as hell.

Yes, so far I've seen two Dodger cards and one Mets card. I had one of his cards in the beta and he was a little underwhelming in two seasons. Kept losing his starting job to Ray Fosse.
