BTW Maddox I didn't spend any extra money yet and now I never will....Looking into another game for online play and maybe to put my future money to....I know I sound mad and it is because I thought OOTP Devs were different then the typical money hungry scam artists of the world...you live and you learn.

As of now OOTP is the best but there are a couple of other games right on their heels...I will support them in the future b4 I support scam artists....

Obviously Markus for all your great stats and intelligence you do not look at the auctions or the rate those amazing cards appear that Fire Anty has...GO DO THE MATH. You clearly are great at math because OOTP is amazingly accurate...SO GO TO THE MATH AND SHOW ME HOW ANYONE CAN COME CLOSE TO COMPETING WITH THAT TEAM ON 200??

Mostly it was to make sure that we all start in our leagues on Day 1 so that nobody gets shorted on meaningful games. It also helped some people test out strategies and begin to assemble something resembling the team they want to field.

I did not spend a single dime but planned on putting aside a couple a hundred per year for extra fun...but WTF is 200 gonna do against a team loaded with hall of famers and future hall of famers...pure BS...

And next Monday that team will be promoted to the Silver league and the week after that the Gold league, and so on up to the top.

It looks like you were looking to be upset about something. Anyone who was willing to spend $200 on Points really has no room to complain that anyone else spent money on points, regardless of the amount.

To myself, with my $5 investment in points, I would have looked at your $200 team and wondered how I would compete? The difference is that I understand that this is a marathon and not a sprint. That promotion and relegation should even the playing fields and that week 1/day 1 is too soon to be making judgments about the competitive balance of the leagues long term.

You know what? I'm thankful I'm not a child born in Syria with a life expectancy of another 6 months.

Maybe you should think about changing your perspective. It's a game. Play it or don't, but stop whining and just quit if you don't like it.

The first bronze league is NOT supposed to be evenly matched. It is made up of all teams. In the coming weeks and months, I guarantee you'll be able to compete.

I'm getting my ass kicked with 4 super teams in my division and I really don't give a damn. Life goes on and it's still fun. In fact it will be more fun for me for far longer than it will be for the whales who can't improve their team anymore.

I think it was initially aimed at giving new players a chance to figure out the basic mechanics of the game. This mode was billed at targeting folks new to OOTP over long-time players, and the OOTP interface has a bit of a learning curve, so letting folks learn the ropes in a bunch of games that don't matter makes sense to me. As an added bonus it lets folks earn some PP and try to get a sense of useful tactics before getting to the meat of the game. It definitely could have been used for seeing purposes as well, but was not originally advertise as such.
