Single Season and Career - adjustment

Add mil levels and an "all mil" dropdown or something more creative.

it's just a copy/paste of existing sql, eh? minor adjusment in selection. i recently read the tidbit about hessman being the mil hr leader.. thought of bull durham etc etc.. not my cup of tea, but the stats are there and accumulated. might as well use them for those that are interested.

heh is this in 19 already? not an area of the game i looked over as i thikn about it.

keep the in-season stats stuff seperate, but rework historical area to be more modular/user affected. the overall leaders page or soemthign similar to in-season statistics area with multiple leaderboards for various historical stats would make it more asthetically cohesive. could just be a checkbox to convert the overall and have both. i think seeing the top 5-10 in various stats like the in-season section would be nice too.

then a sub-section specifically for sorting in user-defined ways - link to retired players list as it is now etc. could make some minor adjustments relative to function, though.

standard options layed out for the basics. batters vs pitching stats seperated as you can now, by position of batter or SP/RP without user-created filters/views would be a nice addition in this historical stats area.

retired player list is used differently than an active player list. change built-in stuff to reflect that difference. reduce need user-created stuff for basics.

i.e. how the current 'by position' vs how the filter for 'position=' works differently. the 'by position' is almost useless relative to retired lists. if you are wondering who the best 3b is, using that doesn't help much, because it includes every player with experience at 3b, even if 1/200 and never played a game there. there's a problem with 'position=' too, because i think it just lists their last position at retirement? if it doesn't change it to the position of most gp (or similar method), then that's not so good for retired lists and browsing various positions.

in a list relating to retired players and historical stats, making that function differently would be useful relative to how that info is used. (or rebrand it to avoid confusion with other screens, but still only slight adjustment to what is currently there)
