In my opinion, providing a watered-down mobile version of this game is pointless. While MLB Manager is a great value at $4.99, I'll never be able to get into it as I would the full OOTP. I've downloaded a few versions of it in the past and have simply given up on it. You can't sell me a flank steak and tell me it's as good as the NY Strip.
More and more options are on the market for powerful mobile computing that aren't only limited to Windows and macOS. Android, Chrome OS, and iOS on powerful Pixelbooks, upcoming Slates, and iPad Pros are becoming a more prevalent option as people seek out capable, portable computing devices. If it were up to me, I'd scrap MLB Manager, and focus on expanding OOTP onto Android, Chrome OS, and iOS. I really believe there is going to be a bigger market for that in the not too distant future. Okay, so on Markus' reddit AMA today, he mentioned that a mobile game completely based on OOTP 20 will be available on mobile called OOTP Go. I really look forward to reading some of the details about it.
