Holy Crap, The Auction House Is Flooded...
It's quite amazing to see how flooded the AH is already with so many of the same cards for sale. I'm seeing so many Paxtons and Wheelers and Taillons and Ohtanis. I mean, there are currently 17 Eugenio Suarez gold cards for sale right now, and only one of them has a bid.
This is not a complaint, just an observation. |

This will sort itself out.... users are trying different approaches, and early it was a sellers market, now this has reversed it seems
Market 101.

It's been really great for collecting some of the lower rated cards that people weren't bothering to put up for auction in the beta.

It has been great for selling cards at reasonable prices too. Yesterday I started putting up cards from Judge and his ilk on down that I got from my PP packs at decent prices. I did well all day and opened more packs and sold more cards priced under the insanity. This opening packs from sales and more sales. gave me more diamonds and golds with golds, silvers and bronze to pass along. I had 302 PP left when I signed off at 830 CST last night. This morning when I got up I had 20,000 PP from achievements and mostly sales. So I bought more packs and put more up for sale. My balance is now back up to 7,000+ PP with cards still on the block. I have only 25 active players since tournaments are not scheduled yet for me to worry about. You can build a nice team if you use the AH with a plan.

Or if not, prices get inflated at the last second as people try to snipe them. It almost feels foolish of me to bid on anyone until they have less than a minute left in their auction, sometimes

I am not winning bids because people are paying too much for the cards right now. The sniper is overpaying. I will wait a few days and pick up the card at my price. Heck, we aren't even in rookie ball yet. Plenty of time to assemble a roster.

yep, I learned this lesson in the beta for the most part I am trying not to pay over 50 for any player right now, with a couple exceptions those players will come back around cheaper in a few days |

Think I got decent prices on a few gold players. Now to decide whether I keep them, or flip them for some profit.

Yeah, it's not like I need to build the perfect team by tomorrow. I can wait for guys to come down at the right price - although I've already screwed up at least a couple auctions, where I debated what to bid, and ended up losing out by only a few hundred. Should have just paid the extra and secured the cards. If I was just a little more aggressive on them...
