Paying a compliment
When the game came with the new generic logo collection my only thought was "that's nice". I've been playing every version since OOTP 8 and thanks to the generous work from the folks in this community and my own efforts I have a logo & uniform collection that is almost 10 GB (and counting). So I never paid the new generic logos much attention.
After 120 seasons I'm making a new game and thought I'd do something different for feeders (I usually use the Summer League teams as feeders). So I really took a look at the generic logo collection that came with the game for the first time. There is a definite appeal in simplicity and these logos are very simple in a good way.The use of a two color scheme makes them very suitable for making caps & uniforms using paintshop templates or Justafan's excellent cap & jersey maker. I've made 40 new team sets really quickly and they look good in game. It's a very small add-on to OOTP and I don't think it got the recognition it deserved. So, nice job on those generic logos guys! |

I'm a big fan of those generic logos. The only I wish was easier was knowing what nicknames had logos made for them. That would be helpful when naming teams for expansion
