Maxing out. Are golds and diamonds too common?

Your first 6 packs? As in your starter packs. That should not be possible. The card distribution is supposed to be static in those packs.

god no.. they are not uber common.. at least not for me.

I opened 100 packs and got 1 Diamond.. so it is pretty random.. think i must of just upset the RNG gods.

I'm wrong, here. Looking through my team, I have five gold cards (Adell, Littell, Martinez, Realmuto, and Leclerc). Three were sold, one is up for auction now, and one was kept. I have purchased five packs, so I have opened a total of 11 packs today. Those packs have yielded the five golds plus the two perfect and one diamond. I opened roughly 40 packs in the beta from PP earned flipping AH cards, $10 in PP (so, 12,000 PP), and selling all my cards on the last day. Two of those packs were the 5,000 type (so, a guaranteed gold). From those packs I got a total of three golds (Acuna Jr., Cano, and Will Harris). I didn't get any diamond/perfect cards in the beta. In total, then I have 8 gold, 1 diamond, and 2 perfect from roughly 51 packs. Not counting the four guaranteed gold (I think you are guaranteed a gold from the starter packs?), I have 4 gold in like 36 packs (50 - 12 starter - 2 gold packs). That's higher than expected, but not unreasonable. I still have 10,000 PP from what I purchased in the beta that I'm hoping to use to get a perfect card or a really good diamond card from the AH. I doubt I can get one that cheap, though. The cheapest bid for a perfect is 54,999 right now while the best diamonds seem to be selling for 20,000+.

Neither do I. Starter packs only contain 1 gold total.
