CPU taking out starter after 1 IP

Noticed that Hyun Jin Ryu pitched 2 games but only has 2IP. Come to see he has only pitched 1 inning per game and I'm wondering why this would happen? He has default hook and no pitch count

Hmm. For my team, Madison Bumgarner pitched 4 shutout innings in his first start of the season. Then the AI took him out. I have no idea why.

Make sure he really has no pitch count set. Otherwise this should not happen.

I double checked Bumgarner. It turns out that he gave up 2 unearned runs in 4 IP, but he struggled, throwing 94 total pitches. So, it makes sense, after all, that he was pulled.
