I have a 45-overall Tony Cloninger. Was in my rotation for a bit to start the year...until I saw his batting stats. I made him a two-way player, then slowly phased him out of my rotation, and he hit 24 homers as a platoon 1B in my first season:

Here's mine. Training him to be a great-fielding utility infielder.

I had a 57 overall Tony Cloninger that I used for most of season 1 before replacing him. He was a below average relief pitcher, but had 80-something power vs. LHP. So I had him eating up garbage innings in the bullpen and DHing vs LHP.

I did get promoted unfortunately so I am on Sigma Rho A. Things have not been going great, as expected, but I think we'll be better once some guys settle down. Might have to make some pitching changes eventually...
2-9 in the AC East. 1 SP and 4 RP performing well. Only 5 batters above replacement. |

Well that was a disaster, finishing 60-102. However, it was better than 2 other teams in the league and there was some great competition. With upcoming relegation, however, I'm going deeper. I will be recreating, as best as possible, the Detr... ahem, the Toledo Mudhens. I've already collected many of the necessary cards, but if anyone has any truly terrible DET 2018 Live cards to add to the auction house that would be much appreciated.

Jose Oquendo, rated 73. He lead my A league in doubles this year and might be the best defensive second baseman in the game. Such an underrated player. I'll never replace him.
Good eye on you guys, spotting Tony Cloninger's hitting. BTW, I looked up his RL hitting stats and he was a .192 lifetime hitter with a slugging percentage of .277.

My peak Paul Waner has been great. He's not the lowest rated of my bronze and silver but he has been the best.

Picked up Lou Brock, AKA Discount Rickey, from a pack between seasons so he hasn't done anything yet, but I've got good hopes for them

That Brock got me >100 steals last season, and lots of PP along the way!

I just had a lightning bolt idea for my theme team and I'm so excited. Will make for a lot of fun and a great card collecting challenge, but also another truly terrible team.

If not mistaken I had gotten Carson Fulmer & he was a 40. I'm pretty sure I had a few 40's come out of packs unless my Alzheimer's is tricking me again.
