Coming up with a custom award for Hits+Runs+RBIs
So i'm thinking about having a custom award that i give out to the player that leads the league with the most hits, runs and RBI's combined but i'm wondering what the best formula to go about it is. I was thinking that i just add up the total of each stat and which ever player has the higher number wins the award however hits are much easier to get than runs or RBI's so i don't think they should be valued the same. However hits are purely all about the player where as runs and RBI's are semi team related, meaning if you're on a good team your runs/RBI's can get inflated. So what do you guys think would be a good formula? I'm thinking something like this...
1 Run = 1pt 1 RBI = 1pt 1 Hit = 0.7pts Thoughts? Also what about what you would name the award? |

1pt per base (TB) 1pt per RBI 1pt per run It also penalized double plays by deducting 2pts, errors are -1pt. SB add 1pt. May be missing something, but if you used something like that you are crediting for the impact of a hit rather than having to factor it. Just a thought. |

interesting thoughts however I didn't know how to make my own award. I thought I had to make a winner manually. Appears from post in here that you have to do a formula ???
