Pt

When opening up my game I get a push notification stating that a new patch is available because of yet another Perfect team update. Can we add an option that says I don’t give a crap about PT so it stops sending me push updates that I don’t care about? Thanks in advance.

I haven't mentioned thi on a couple or three years now, but...

If at all possible, we need a return of patches. I had stopped mentioning it because we were told it was no longer possible for some reason, but perhaps now that there are in effect two products in one, is it now possible to have a patch when an update has effect on only one of them? Not at all of us live in places with high speed internet. For me, each full update is roughly a four hour download.

Nope. You'll have to waste 1 second to click that dismiss button, sorry.

Right now it's just an exception, because of the PT beta. We'll be back to nromal update cycles soon.

Good to know. Thanks for helping make my decision to not purchase next year that much easier. I’ve been purchasing since Season Ticket baseball first appeared in stores. Purchases FHM 1, 2 & 3 even tho I have played maybe 3 hours tops between them. OOTP 19, for me, has been the least stable of any version I have purchased and I have played this one for half the amount of time I played 18. I can see this direction the company is taking is one that I no longer want to be on.

Cheers

meaning you don't have to download the newest release if it involves only PT. There's a button you can click to dismiss it. No need to get all upset over this.

Worry about yourself. I’m not upset. It’s not the constant downloading. It’s the constant notifications. Try reading.

I'm on no one's side, but the verbiage could've been better thought out before replying. Its kind of dismissive, IMO.

This is far and away the pettiest thing I've seen in a long while.

I can understand being frustrated with OOTP19 issues or with the PT gamemode in general, but for the final straw to be a pop-up on the main screen... when you're already in the process of opening the game anyway... that you just have to click a single button to dismiss and never see again? Are there not more important things to get worked up over?

You must have missed where I said 19 was the least stable. Reading is fundamental

You guys can all stop caping for OOTP Developments. They’re not going into the poor house over my $40. Especially with people willing to throw money at Perfect steam.

Also, literally no one is begging you to stay, so clearly this is a desperate attempt at attention seeking and I won't fuel it any further.

My call as a neutral is that you all came off as a bit dismissive of MikeD and then MikeD subsequently overreacted. My verdict is that every man jack of you (both sides) is a Major League A-hole. Will that fair judgement bring the arguing to a close and reduce the tension a notch?

Seriously, I don't see the problem with allowing someone to just check a box and opt out of the PT beta phase at least. Being able to opt out of beta updates is something which other games do all the time. Give the 'opt outers' one update when the full version is ready.

I've seen another thread saying that the updates are wreaking havoc in online leagues. These updates don't bother me personally, and they may not bother you (whoever you are) as an individual. The point is that there seems to be a fair amount of people who have no interest in PT and don't like the constant reminders and download attempts. I can also see how, given that there are a lot of worries about PT, "Taking over" those reminders might feel more oppressive than they really are.

It seems like there should be an easy, temporary workaround for people who just want to play their traditional game and be left alone.

Until the next patch.

And the next.

And the next.

And the next.

Seriously, it should be easier to program an option to opt out of notifications than it is to program PT.

No, because only one of those posts was good. The other 191 (well, 192 now) are bollocks.
