Merging Two Major Leagues - Help...

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to merge two major leagues, one with about 40 years of history (League A) and another with about 10 years of history (League B).

League A never had sub-leagues, just divisions, so when I merge League B into League A now as two sub-leagues my league history screen is all screwed up and only the Home team from League A is listed in the Champion column (see the unbolded teams made the Final Series, but didn't win in the image below).

Any tips on merging leagues and maintaining league history? I assume I can create a completely new league, move teams from league A and League B into this new structure, but then the history from league A will be lost and not carry over into with players for HoF voting etc and league leaderboards etc.

Any help, pointers, tips etc. very welcome.

This is how the champions from League A look before adding a new Sub League.

1 looks like it should be a league with 2 sub leagues and one is 1 sub league.

after the merger, you'll now have two columns and the bold team will be the champ. you also need new columns for the additional sub league averages.

it looks empty, so i'd assume this is year 1 after marger? (rhetorical -- help you recognize if i am wrong or not)

I find that adding a second subleague screws up the history in most cases.

I might have to go the association route for now, despite the whole association aspect not being that great in ootp.
