Second Baptist Eagles -- Houston, Tx

I check in on this thread occasionally because I think it is cool, although I've never actually made a feeder league on OOTP. I recently saw your post about people not being thankful and wishing others would make a set and post it occasionally, so consider this my thanks for your hard work.

I've gone ahead and made a set for my alma mater, Second Baptist School.

Second Baptist is a TAPPS 4A school in Houston, Texas. Countless players have gone on to play collegiately, and I believe 4 have gone on to be drafted. Only one has appeared in the MLB, Aaron Thompson. The others to be drafted were Ross Seaton, Russell Dixon, and Kyle Reynolds. I may be forgetting one person but I don't think I am.

Second Baptist currently has seven players playing division 1 baseball, including myself. Those seven players are at six schools: Rice, University of Houston, Nicholls State, Dallas Baptist University, Columbia, and Hofstra.

What is most interesting about Second Baptist is the coaching staff. Former big leaguer Lance Berkman is the head coach. His good friend and another former big leaguer Andy Pettitte is the pitching coach. Four other coaches are on staff, and three of them at least played minor league baseball.

This set is essentially a replica of the 2016 uniforms, my senior year and the last year we won a state title. The school has undergone a rebrand since then, but I'm not a big fan.

Again, thanks for your work, and I hope you and everyone else on there enjoys these.

This is an awesome post! So you play D1? And you find time for OOTP? This is awesome. I'd ask who and where you play, but I can understand if you didn't answer, but I'd be sure to put you in the college league I run. You can find out who I am easily, just look at my profile and do a quick Google search, I'm not really worried about privacy, as there really is none in this day and age (sadly)

While I hate to come across as bitter in that post, what I was really wanting to get across is the fact that ANYONE can contribute to this post, no matter skills, as the Jersey and Cap creator tools make this so streamlined. I literally have no computer graphic skills, and really still don't, however this project has allowed me to gain enough to make jerseys for this game.

And it's the least I can give back, considering what I have used on other programs in the past.
And this post is exactly what I hoped to stir up, an honest user giving back with a set that means something to him, with a great history to boot. To know this team has Lance Berkman and Andy Pettite developing potential and talent, I'm speechless, I envy the experience you must have gained working with them.

Many many thanks for your contribution, this thread will go far if others contribute as you have.

I started this thread thinking of how under served the feeder league mods have been on OOTP, in particular high school leagues, and they serve a very important function in modern baseball. HS feeder leagues are the ground zero for U.S. talent, and this game allows you to encapsulate this, to as much depth and expanse as you desire or your system can handle. How cool is that?
