This is why the universe system is brilliant. Heavy spenders are going to rise quickly and be in leagues with other heavy spenders. Free to play folks will likely take their beatings early but eventually will be seeded with others of their ilk. Spending fuels the quick rise, but I think both player types will have fun.

and its not just the heavy spenders that will have stacked teams. lucky ppl that get great starter packs or some high value achievements early on will likely end up in the same place

I am certain there are ppl who have not spent any real money that have teams full of silvers, golds, and diamonds right now. they either understood the system quicker than others or got lucky with their draws, and will be rewarded with promotion to play other teams that did well, and leagues should become more competitive

I havent spent anything on my team and I have a team of golds and silvers that can certainly compete. No way I can compete with teams like that over the course of 162 games though

I haven’t spent a dime and have 1 perfect, 2 diamonds, and about 10 golds. I also have 7k in reserve. Yes, unbelievable luck!

Yup...Packs need to be nerfed after the beta is complete, because right now it is almost guaranteed to turn a profit by selling players from packs while also building a super team.

My next question would be how? Granted I know my team was below the norm in earning Perfect Points. The 3 or 4 packs I opened beyond my starter packs never awarded me with anything above a silver.

I am still sending out a team with a single gold.

Packs do NOT need to be nerfed. The Auction house is already almost objectively better as it is. Not everyone is getting good luck from packs. I still have yet to pull a gold beyond the one I started with, much less a diamond or perfect.

This is absolutely not correct. Maybe if you're very lucky, but most people haven't even drawn a *single* diamond.
