Suggestion for POTW/M

I don't know if this is already the case, but winning the POTW/M in your league should award some PP. Same for maybe being top 5 in the weekly power rankings? or top 10, whatever seems right. Glad to hear thoughts on this from staff and fellow players.

I'd like to see PP awards for player hitting streaks, team win streaks, and team loss streaks as well (hey, the guys with bad teams need a way to gain some PPs too, since they wont have draft picks or prospects!)

also maybe some small PP awards for the team leading the week in non-major stats, since things like HRs and hits will automatically build PPs just by their very nature. non-major stats would be things like walks, stolen bases, sacrifice hits/bunts, double plays (good defense needs PPs too!)

150 for being the best batter in the entire conference for the whoooole month seems almost useless

150PP is a good award IMO. most of the ones I get are 30 or 50 each


don't you figure that best batter already earned his fair share of PP during that good month anyways? the 150 is just the big cherry on top

I agree. I can go weeks worth of in game time without even earning any points so 150 seems decent.

The developer need to be careful as handing out too many points will over inflate the values of the cards or simply make it too simple to build a great team.

No matter what the payouts are there will be players who feel that they should be more generous. But no matter how generous the payouts are there will be players who think they should be even higher.

I also don't think players realize that they have already mentioned tournaments and collections and other ways you may be able to earn points.

But the goal for the developers, in my opinion should be to try and keep players engaged all year long and not max out their team in three months and get bored because there is nothing left to work towards.

I think this is a great idea! It would certainly help league immersion as correct me if I'm wrong but don't MLB players get some small sum IRL for these minor awards too? I thought I read that somewhere.

Also need to be careful of too much of a feedback loop where the best teams just print PP and get even better
