When we allow the AI to control promotion/demotion...

Can we please be allowed to disable promotions from the INTL Complex, the same as we can from minor league teams? Right now, we can't

did the players in question turn 20 ??? If that occurred they would automatically join minor league team.

The usual problem is that the AI promotes players early.

That's the smart thing to do though. They always develop faster that way. I promote at 16 and they're MLB ready by 20/21.

Better question is why would anybody want to prevent then from being promoted? That's the mistake if you ask me.

i generally agree with that, but only when there is playing time for them. they don't benefit from sitting on the bench

Well I'm not promoting a 16 year old to sit on the bench lol. He's gonna play everyday.

I don't want my 17 year old SS with 35/25/25/25/20 current ratings in the GCL promoted to the GCL.

I mean, hey, if you want to play that way, go for it. But you're intentionally slowing his development by making that decision not to promote him even at 17 with those ratings. You should try promoting a few IC prospects at that age/development to rookie ball and see how they develop to see for yourself. They always fill out by the time they're old enough to drink.

So, even if the kid hits .137/.198/.234 he's better off?
