Help... my season start date is 2998

Ok, I'm in NHL standard mode, not controlling anyone, I did change the league structure some... generated new schedule afterwards (have tried generating new schedule a few times now) and for some reason my season start date is year 2998 which I assume by than Robots will fill all the teams.
All the other dates are the same in the event calendar, all the tournaments, the trade deadline, all star game, etc etc... except preseason start date isn't until December 2998 and regular season starts Jan. 1st 2999....
What on earth is causing this and is there a way to fix it without spoiling any work I've done?????

Ok nevermind I figured out my problem.... I needed to set the amount of inter division and inter conference games to a number to match one of the pre built schedules in the schedule folder... so all is good now, I'm glad I didn't have to start a league full of robots

Can you go step by step what you did?

Sure... I first made the league structure with 2 conferences, 3 divisions in each conference and 5 teams per division. I put the inter division games to 5 and the inter conference games to 3.... when the new schedule got generated it was making my season start in year 2998... But when I changed inter division to 6 and inter conference to 4 and then generated the schedule that seemed to work so I'm all set now! :-)
