Farm Teams
In my modern NHL game the expansion team that I control was assigned 2 farm teams, however, there are only a handful of players on each team.
What is the deal here? How do I fill my roster with players? Is there a way to change my farm teams? |

You can change Farm Teams on July 1st. However each farm team usually has around half or more guys who are on just AHL/ECHL contracts. You need to sign guys to those contracts, or have you assistant do it for you. Teams will auto do it when the season gets closer too. |

Can NHL teams have more than one farm team in the AHL and/or the ECHL?

I am bringing back in the AHL the Boston Braves(AHL) and Minneapolis Bruins(CPHL) so I will have two teams receiving players from the Bruins while Providence stays in the AHL as the Reds. |

Another question that wasn't answered in another thread:
What happens to the players of a team that changes affiliations? Example-Grand Rapids(Detroit) old-Fort Worth Wings(Detroit) new. Last edited by Orioles1966; 10-28-2018 at 12:43 PM. |
