Owner Mood

I am recently started a 2018 MLB season managing SFG. Bauer's expectation at the start of the season was to stay close to .500 and he was "worried." When I was 4-2, he was "mad", at 6-3 he is now "angry."

First of all, I think he needs to chill a bit and learn to enjoy the wonder that is watching a 162 game MLB season play out.

That said, I did some searches and see a few posts on owner mood, but nothing quite like this. Any ideas a) why he would change moods multiple times in 9 games; and b) whether "angry" or "mad" is worse?

FYI, I am in manager-only mode so do not know what his goals are for the year.

yeah, i'd say it's any factor outside of your record.

if that anger comes from non-manager related things, i'd think your job is still safe? i am not very familiar with owner stuff.

Never played as manager-only, but I would agree the owner's mood has nothing to do with you

I did wonder about that, if the anger was at the GM and not at the manager (me). Makes sense - will be interesting to see how this plays out!

You can see the goals issued to the GM when only the manager by going to the staff tab and looking at the owner from there. That may help you figure out why he's got a short fuse.

My owner's goal is "extreme winning ". I just finished my season 2 games over. 500. I'm surprised I'm still employed.

Has your GM been making any "creative" moves or "interesting" trades? Maybe Bobby Evans has had his fingers in the cookie jar and it got Larry steamed up.
